PoPs First Watch Beard Company was born from a passion for natural living, family values, and a commitment to serving others.

 

For more than a decade, we have dedicated countless hours to researching plant-based remedies, natural hygiene products, home cleaning solutions, and the benefits of essential oils. What began as a personal journey toward a healthier lifestyle quickly became a way of life. We started growing our own herbs, crafting products in our home, and carefully selecting ingredients that aligned with our belief that simple, natural ingredients are often the best choice.

 

Like many bearded men, Jon spent years trying countless beard products. Time and time again, we found ingredient lists filled with chemicals, fillers, and ingredients that were often synthetically grown. We knew there had to be a better way.

 

When we began creating our own beard oils and balms, we quickly realized we had something special. By combining high-quality natural ingredients, fresh rosemary grown in our own gardens, and years of experience working with plant-based products, we created beard care products that were simple, effective, and made with purpose.

 

That was the moment PoPs First Watch Beard Company was born.

 

Our family has spent our lives serving others. As a faith-based family, service has always been at the center of who we are.

 

Jon serves as a Paramedic and EMS Coordinator for our local county, dedicating his career to caring for those in need and supporting the First Responders who serve alongside him. Valerie is a Registered Respiratory Therapist and EMT, with decades of experience caring for patients and educating future healthcare professionals.

 

While serving our community has been one of our greatest privileges, our greatest joy comes from our family. We are blessed with five incredible children, a son and daughter in law, and five wonderful grandchildren who inspire us every day.

The name “PoPs” holds a special place in our hearts. It’s the name our grandchildren lovingly call Jon, and it serves as a reminder of why we started this journey in the first place. 

 

More than a business, PoPs First Watch Beard Company is a legacy—one built on faith, family, hard work, and the hope of creating something meaningful for future generations.

 

Every balm and every oil we produce is handcrafted with the same care and attention that we would give to products made for our own family. We’ve poured our hearts into this brand, and it is our sincere hope that you enjoy using our products as much as we enjoy creating them.
